Guadalupe County Juvenile Services is currently seeking applicants for a

 Licensed Professional Counselor/Clinician (Job description available here)

The following requirements apply: Doctoral degree in Psychology or closely related field which complies with the qualified mental health professional requirements in Texas. Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) valid in the state of Texas, or a Doctorate in the field of mental health or closely related field. Be in good standing with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Maintain a professional mental health license. A valid Texas Driver’s license and proof of liability coverage is required. Applicant must have no criminal record and pass a criminal background check.  Experience with juveniles impacted by trauma, abuse, neglect, exploitation, behavioral issues or illegal behavior is preferred. Experience working with juveniles in individual/family/group therapy preferred. Rate of pay for this position is $25.95 – $26.91 per hour.
